My TP2 was sitting right next to my Epic for several hours. They were both connected to my Airave sitting about 3ft away. The TP2's screen turned on very damn frequently and the Epic had not turned on once.
I have not received any calls, texts, or other data connections during this time (midnight to 6AM). It is also worth noting that both phones were running the latest stock Sprint roms with absolutely nothing added or modified with the sole exception being Sprint network activation under my account.
After two seperate two-week test phases, the Epic had not turned on a single time while being connected to or switching to/from the Airave. These results suggest that it's an issue specific to WM (as assumed) or possibly the interaction of WM, HTC hardware, CDMA radio, and the CDMA standard.
Various builds of EnergyRom have not changed anything to the TP2 nor have several kernels and SFR for the Epic. I also get text messages on my Epic where it plays a notification sound and flashes the LED
without the screen coming on.
