Opera does provide a mobile>desktop..it just doesn't work...the method they do it is very subtle..aka it requires the page to be compliant with the tag they send...99% of the pages, even yahoo.com ignore it and just send to mobile view by default.
Opera 11 though renders things much better as it has an HTML5 compliance on par with desktop browsers..not just acid3 compliance

well then they need to fix that switch. they need to have either MS or the makers of dolphin browser to teach them a thing or 2 about it because it hasn't worked good since opera 8.6x
