ok, as the title states my auto-rotation is not working anymore. the last time i recall it working was before i flashed to the midnightrom. i tried what i hope was going to be a fix that i found on the xda forum for the samsung fascinate, but that hasn't done the trick. so im back to square one and looking for an answer.

here are the things that i have done so far to rectify this:

1) did the screen calibration in settings>display>horizontal calibration....no good

2) used terminal emulator to force recalibration....no good

3) used root explorer to delete the file in system/bin/sensorcalibutil_yamaha then wiped the davlik cache, rebooted, did the horizontal calibration....still no good

so if you have a fix that works, or something that should work, let me know and im game to try it. i still have landscape when i use the keyboard, but i just wont do the trick when i tilt the phone. also, games and programs that utilize the gsensor/accelerometer (not sure what to call it) don't work it either. ex) with the game prism 3d the ball just bounces up and down, doesn't go in any direction...no tilting at all.

i haven't heard/read of anyone else using midnightrom having this issue...so i don't believe that it is the rom at all. maybe reflashing it would work, but im trying to find another fix because i don't wanna have to reload all my apps and settings again, lol.
