Make sure you're rebooting with nothing in the RCA jack. Also, get an alcohol pad (those pre-moistened ones), twist it around a pin or something similar, and twist it inside the jack. Lastly, you can use the pin/needle to dislodge any bent pins inside the jack. Hopefully this will work...
