I dont want to include this in the build. Just not aosp and its not a flexible solution.

Cool. I'll see what I can do about that. su isn't working for me even with it in /system/bin/, so I'm seeing what I can do with androidupdate.tgz to fix that. Probably won't be done tonight, but if LMiller doesn't beat me to it, I'll post something up tomorrow
