now that it's been mentioned, I've seen 1X a few times lately.....I think it's the first time I've seen 1X since I got the EVO.....I'll have to look into it

did u delete the htclockscreen.apk? I had the same thing when I was playing w/ it.....I posted the other day, that the rotary & sliding tab lockscreens wont work cuz I replaced the framework-res.apk.
if u use adb, copy the htclockscreen.apk from the rom to your sdk/tools dir:
adb reboot recovery
adb shell mount/system
adb push htclockscreen.apk /system/app
