Try the B&L Weather Widget: [UPDATE 01.04.2011] CHT widget B&L_Group Weather Widget v.4.1 - xda-developers
It doesn't link to the weather tab (nor can you have it luanch a weather app) bet it can show 5-10 days of weather and can be resized to fit within the clock border.
