Re: Opera Mobile 11 for Android out

Opera 11 has hardware acceleration aka it uses the GPU...this may give benefit as it takes load off the CPU..

Opera Mobile is a full blown web browser requiring no intermediate proxy server.
Actually thats what Turbo is...if you turn that on in the browser it uses Oepra servers to get content, compress it and send it..overall doesn't make much sense unless you got horrible signal.

My main problem with Opera on TP2 Android is that it requires multitouch for zooming, while the native browser displays a + / - button. Hopefully that is remedied in Opera Mobile 11?
you zoom in by hitting twice on the screen and do a zoom out whenhitting the back button on opera...you cna also use the directional arrows to emulate a mouse..which you can zoom in by hitting enter or 5 key
