We got a 1ghz Hummingbird processor thats 45nm (aka less battery usage), its also around 10-30% more powerful processing wise clock for clock then 1st gen snapdragon.

We have a 3-4x more powerful GPU then the Adreno in the first snapdragon

The camera is only 5mp but the sensor is better aka better pics and video.

The screen is 24bit color! and as you noticed very pretty...its made of Gorilla Glass.

Its easy to root and has this nice tool called Odin which makes it "ALMOST" unbrickable..

It has native playback for divx/xvid and many other formats..

It has 4g idle which make it use less energy while using 4g

*end biased opinion*

Some interesting things to note that are good and bad..

1) That shiny screen is a energy hog..kinda..it has its ups and down..if you use black on the screen..that wastes 0 energy..if you use white that wastes a ton of energy...formula for energy usage is:

1x=red
2x=green
3x=blue
6x=white

aka if you have a screen full red it would waste 6x less energy as full white..overall though by average expect about maybe only ~30min more battery life then say an evo on general usage...

To put it into perspective, if you were to remove RGB and only have everything in shades of red..you would instantly double your battery life.

2) Processor is not used at its max ability..realistically its capable of recording and playing back 1080p natively..that feature was locked it seems :/..720p works fine though...on some crazy settings..you can do max quality H264 encodes and it won't lag at all..

3) Video out via 3.5mm and usb was locked by Sprint ..devs are working on it...

4) Sprint locked access to Samsung Kies :/

Anyways I'll leave it at that, if you want more info come over to the Galaxy S section and I and others will be glad to answer your questions.
Hey buddy stay on topic!

....moved to the Epic general forum
(if only i had that power)
