Not sure how to help you with the program you have as I've never used it.
However... I have always reformated my SD / Micro SD cards from my PC directly.

Plug your card into your PC like you normally would... Using an adapter and inserting into the SD slot or a USB reader.

Then go to My Computer find the APPROPRIATE drive assigned to your card ( D: or E: or whatever) Right click it and quick format it. JUST MAKE SURE YOU USE THE CORRECT DRIVE LETTER!!! Especially if you don't want to format something else.
