I'm sure VZW would love for you to drop by and grab an iPhone! For me, my parents, my in-laws, my (non-technical/non-nerd) friends, all have them. To get away from my TP2 for a mimnute, I tried one out over the last couple of weeks. It felt just like the relevant Futurama episode. There's the associated stigma/attitude and being told what's okay and what's not with regards to my device, yeah, I'm good. Plus that, iTunes, uh, I'd rather catalog my music in Excel.
Android, like a few others have said..looks a bit rough around the edges, and I primarily use my phone for work, synced to Exchange. I'll be damned if I get fired because some kiddie buried a rootkit in the next app I download, and stole my data.
tl;dr tried the other stuff, still waiting for WP7.
