But i see your point about stripping down functionality. That in itself wont save much more space, just the busybox part definitely will. OK. so agreed, keep full recovery but the tgz needs to be modded to remove busybox... what do you think of that?

Ahh, now I get what you mean

And yes, I think that sounds perfect. Keep full recovery but remove busybox since it is already in initrd. I will also keep looking into a better way to include it outside of initrd but still be in the NBH so we don't have to push that binary to the git. Only way around this is if we only push huge updates for recovery and leave the minor ones to be fixed with androidupdate.tgz.

After that I downloaded.
The NBH is not the same inside with GSMTEST.
When I was ready to download when androidupdate.tgz.
They were removed.
The NBH is the new test?

Yes. The NBH and androidupdate.tgz are a pair and must go together. The one on Index of / files / xdandroid is compiled by the server. The GSMTEST is one that I made for testing.

Awesome. I'll compile the new recovery into initrd and test it. Got feedback from 3 people so far that the new method works great. Also, about 3 more people over at XDA used the files to successfully install (though GSM still doesn't boot right).
If LMiller is around, maybe we can work on getting FRX06 up and running before you get off work tonight
