Hard resetting will not unroot the phone. Since the apps were removed through root explorer I don't think they will come back via hard reset. In all the threads regarding rooting, a nandroid backup is always suggested immediately following the root process. Check those threads as there is a way to see if you still have your rsa keys for 4g then perform a nandroid backup from recovery so you don't have to worry about losing them and have a restore point.
