I'm really happy with 1.6 so far, after a few reboots. I couldn't get Windows Marketplace apps to install at first, but that worked itself out. Everything else seems good, including battery life and performance.
One interesting note: my text messages are backed up to my inbox if I use the MS messaging client, but not if I use the HTC one. I'm sure that's just the nature of the beast, but an observation nonetheless.
I do look forward to the new 1.7 coming soon!
