Okay sorry for caps but im irritated i rooted my sprint htc hero without any flaws and got the aospcmod just fine installed on it using rom manager and heroroot.

Without a problem i add again.

Now my brother has a htc hero with alltel and he brings it over to me and asks me to do the same thing. I tried every root program and walkthrough i could find and nothing works. What is worng? Is it really impossible? Is alltel a bunch of queers? Am i retarded?

I tried programs such as z4root, heroroot, and even asroot2 cmd manual style and they all fail. The z4 and heroroot said again say they did it but didnt. And asroot2 says it fails at the mount -o part.

Is there something im missing? Did alltel do an update to stop root? What is going on? Any and all help other then pointing me to some wiki that i know i have already read is greatly appreciated.
