Edit: I remembered arrrghhh saying not to use swapfile; most likely because it's bad for your SD card, but if you have a card to spare, I guess who knows what pros we can find out about swapper 2. If you're using swapper 2, I recommend you restart Android often so that it will create a new swapfile at another location on your SD card so that your card will wear "evenly" (wearleveling).

NO OC in winmo
OC android to 710 through startup.txt
Swap place: /sdcard/FRX05/swapfile.swp
Swap size : 128MB
Swappiness : 60(system default)
I'm probably 2/3 speed of the EVO now...steady as a damn rock. I think the issue is the FB Widget....if you don't put that on---you're golden
swap size may be a bit big at 128---96 seems more reasonable for speed

I wasn't saying you guys were off topic, my request was what was OT, for info on how it worked as far as swapping the data. Although I agree w/ you too, if this stops some of the SOD/Failed wakes, it's relative here lol. I'm still using the FB icon, not sure if that's what you're referring to on merely the widget that's possibly causing the issues as I'm not using the widget, only a shortcut to the app.
