Re: How Would You Rank Windows Phone 7 With The iPhone and Android?

not really sure what you're talking about eric, you quoted me giving HSPA download speeds, that applies to iOS, Android, and WP7...

I've stated several times that I do like WP7 a lot and I see it has HUGE upsides, and I have defended WP7 and will continue to do so when incorrect information is brought forth, however I don't see how anyone can intelligently argue that it is "better" than iOS or Android in its current state. Let's see how iOS is better than WP7 using the latest versions (iOS4.3 vs WP7 - 700

non jailbroken or hacked

1) you can change the wallpaper

2) you can create folders to put your apps and games in.

3) it has a zillian more apps and games, and the multi-player ones are more fun because there are zillians of people using iPhones.

4) WiFi tethering

5) you can save your camera settings and the camera doesn't always make a shutter sound

6) front facing camera with video chat

7) C&P (till NoDo)

8 3rd party app multitasking, you can actually stream music and use messaging apps...

and more...

let's talk jailbroken/hacked

1) NES/SNES/etc.. emulators

2) wiimote for games

3) complete theme changes, make your phone look like Android, WP7, and much more

4) change any setting you want, hide apps, battery percentage, etc...

5) video wallpapers, music video ringtones

6) run Android 2.2

and much much more.

Let's talk in a year when Mango is out and the devs have found ways to hack the thing so we can "jailbreak" WP7 and do cool stuff that MS doesn't want us to
