tethering speeds, depending on the time of day, is at least 100kbps. not sure where this info is coming from. but 3g is surprisingly faster than you would think. in the middle of the night i can get up to 300 - 350kbps. sometimes xbox live runs better off my tethered phone than my roomates clear 4g modem, until i get a text message or something lol.
i've never received a letter from sprint though either, been tethering since i got this phone, so a little over a year now and i have some rather high usage as well (usually averaging 30gb/month)
