So, do this...

1. Get a Registry Editor (i like PHM)
2. Navigate to HKLM/Software/HTC/ATDbgLog
3. Change the value of Enable to 1
4. Change the value of LogMode to 1
5. Wait 2-5 mins. (I usually wait like one minute, but whatever works)
6. Soft reset
7. Check to make sure the folder /Atlog has been created in the main memory
8. Navigate back to the registry location indicated before (HKLM/Software/HTC/ATDbgLog)
9. Change Enable to 0
10. Change LogMode to 0
11. Wait 2-5 mins.
12. Soft reset
13. Navigate to the /Atlog folder in the main memory and openATDbg0.txt
14. There will be a RETARDED amount of information in this text file. You are looking for "Rx:+HTC_RMSL:######\r\n0\r"
15. Those pound signs are your MSL. Enjoy.

Now you can do the programming tips you have already read here.
Good Luck!
After about four tries, I finally got it the MSL. I was able to do the edit in EPST, but it always resets the entry back to "...@myboostmobile.sprintpcs.com" every time the machine restarts after I change it to "...@hcm.sprintpcs.com".

Any ideas?
