If I do that sprint magic, won't they give me a refurb and not a new one? That's why I don't want to go to the repair shop near my house, they always have to order one and it's a refurb.
I can't freeze via titanium cause I don't have the $$ version.

Honestly, it depends on the rep you talk to. They can do whatever they want. When I exchanged mine I asked the Sprint rep if I was going to get a new phone or a refurb, and she told me she was going to make a point to order a brand new phone in the box. So as a bonus I got to keep all my accessories so now I have 2 usb cables, 2 batteries and 2 chargers. If you have TEP the whole thing is free. If not they will charge you $35.00. I didn't have insurance on my first handset but in my case it was worth it. My menu button didn't work and it drove me crazy. (I added TEP on this one!)
