So was wondering which would be more beneficial the more ram or higher pp. I'm currently running vins new titanium with spb mobile shell and after all my cabs are loaded and running wifi, i'm staying around 108-110 ram. Just wondering if the higher PP would make it smoother, because sometime when opening programs it's a tad choppy.

PP is essentially telling the phone how much free mem to use for cache. the higher the pp, the less free mem, but the more programs are cached -which can lead to a smoother experience. However, another way to speed things up is to overclock. so, I have found the best (just for spb/sense...not android) is to drop PP to 8 and overclock to 729. this gives great speed and free mem in the 100+ range

the reason I left my PP at 16 this time is because I am not going to overclock because I am installing android. If I notice a large memory loss in android, I may drop my PP to 10 (android caches a lot anyway, so I'm just testing)

after running titanium (with spb and ms kip doc3000) for a while with PP at 16 free mem settled to 80-----perfect!!!!
