My two cents . . .
I REALLY like having the walpapers and tones on the SD card. Maybe I'm just super utilitarian, but if I don't use them I want them off my phone, and having them on the SD makes that so much easier.
It is my impression that the free space on the internal memory serves as the cache, so more free space on the internal means more cache means things run a bit zippier, no?
