[FullHDMI] Official FullHDMI beta discussion - Android Forums
It's compatible but it is not ready for prime time yet. I tried it and for a beta it works ok. I would rate it at a C+ right now. When I installed the apk and the required kernel all seemed good, when I hooked it up to my big screen up pops my phone. Switched screens, played some games, tried out slingbox, and all seemed good. After about 15 minutes it switched from 720p to 480p and then the only thing that would display was the home screens. Any time I opened an app I would just get horizontal lines on the screen. The phone started to get pretty hot and that might have been what caused the failure. After disconnecting my phone from the tv my sound on my phone didn't work so I had to reboot my phone. Later I noticed the required kernel was burning through my battery like the old days. Battery was dropping fast. The next morning after an evening of charging the battery dropped 20% just from reading a few emails. I switched back to my SBC HTC#15 kernel and my battery returned to great performance again.

To wrap things up, yes this will work with Sprint Lovers. No, it is not ready for prime time. Is it worth trying, yes, if you already have the HDMI cable give it a whirl. When Orebmus gets this thing polished up a little and the kernel optimized this will be a great app. Right now, its only a gimmick to show your iphone pals.
