Re: Guess Gingerbread for EVO ain't

As I stated before..Gingerbread was not ready for the consumer...even new phones were no coming out with Gingerbread but with Froyo instead..come March/April is when Gingerbread will start appearing on phones..to assume EVO would get Gingerbread before any other new phone comes out with it is silly..remember their priority is sell new phones..then offer updates..not saying it won't happen just saying it will take a month or so more..same story with Froyo and Nexus One..

Froyo was released like May I think..EVO got Froyo update in August..that was 3 months and when they had the upper hand on the release since they made the Nexus One..now Gingerbread came out in December..that would make March the 3 month time-frame..but I think March is when the new phones will get it (International Galaxy S may get it in March too since this time Samsung had the upper hand)..and April is when the updates will come in..
