I have the same issue with my phone, on every ROM I've tried. It's never an issue until about 3 weeks after I flash... I clear out my messages nightly, I always have an empty inbox/sent/deleted folder.

I've seemed to have linked mine to failing flash memory. My phone starts getting corruption after about a month without flashing. I mean, file errors, programs not found, missing graphics, etc.

Reflash always fixes it until the next time... but then again, it could just be my phone.
