Ok here is the thing. If it was 2 years we better DOUBLE what we want because by then windows Mobile 9 or whatever will take 3 times the memory....

Operating system. LINUX based. (will run cleaner smoother and easier to modify open source)

Ram 1Gb
don't care about internal memory, they will have nano SD by then and it will scream in speed (well you never know)
HD screen... (as if we would notice the fifference that small....
