Carriers can only block one update per year, wp7 won't be like android with everyone running different versions at once .
No..here is how it works..all future updates has the previous updates built in..so if a carrier skips an update..it will be included..BUT..carrier can block all updates indefinitely..aka they can allow updates for 1 year or less and then block all updates from then on to force you to buy a new phone..read what M$ said..they admitted carriers can do that >.>
