I'm kind of puzzled and don't know why people don't go and look at the phones in the stores and play with them and see what the hype is about, that's how I found out that I liked the Evo more than my TP2, it was a toss up between that and the Epic but I never really used the keyboard much and I wanted as much screen as I could get and that convinced me to get the Evo.

I totally agree but it depends on the store owner. By me, there are only dummy phones. And if the real phone is present, they have to have the biggest tether ever glued to the back. The pocket test is a major one for me.
