Thanks

I'm switching up phones and providers which I am at a toss up between Boost, metroPCS (CDMA) and SimpleMobile (GSM), so this might make it easier to search eBay with a wider or narrower selection of searches... Since sometimes you can luck out and find an auction by only the model name and it get it cheaper than by the promotional/commercial name.
Pretty much all TP2's can be made to work with GSM, although whether or not 3G will work depends on the internal antennas which are cut for the bands of the particular carrier for which the phone is sold. Rhod100's are European, Rhod110's are Australian, Rhod210's are US T-Mobile, and Rhod300's are AT&T Tilt2's. These are all GSM. The Rhod400's and Rhod500's on the other hand are CDMA/GSM world phones. Sprint carries the 400 while Verizon used to carry the 500. There are some other carriers like US Cellular in the US and Telus in Canada that also carry or have carried variations on the 400 or 500.

You can check the model# of of any phone by pulling out the battery and looking at the writing on the phone beneath. Other numbers have been used by the carriers, but the numbering I've given you above is used internally by HTC, and unlike carrier numbering, can always be found on the phone.
