Android general Noob question; Is it safe to update prl from setting menu; manually.? I try to stay away from any updating from the device, in fear of breaking my full root.
There's no problem for you to update PRI/PRL. Every time I conduct an update I do updates for both. You don't lose your root.
When you say both your referring to prl and profile right? I know if you update Htc software you lose root (s-on).

So updating profile and prl via the device is okay and safe?
