Sprint Lovers is an unsigned rom as are most custom roms and using the original Unrevoked that was used prior to Froyo it didn't give you full root so you aren't able to install unsigned roms.

Thanks for all of the responses. I will try to reroot using the latest unrevoked and see what happens. If not I will unroot and then reroot. I will post once I'm done to let you guys know if all went well. Thanks again
