Can I change (disable) boot up jingle now that I'm rooted?

I've read some ROMs have customized bootup jingles/banners.

I prefer stick with Stock ROM for the moment.

I know about CDMA Workshop method using illegal copy of that tool.

But what puzzles me is that jingle is some how in the Radio ROM yet the custom ROMs that don't touch radio can have a different jingle.

I've seen the recent no cdma workshop thread but they keep referring to the lock screen.

I don't care about the lockscreen or the boot up animation.

I just want a silent boot.

What's the easiet way to do that with a rooted stock ROM?
