I had a hell of a time with syncing with the hotmail exchange server with my EVO... I had to download a second mail client for my phone as the native one will not do it.
My wife's EVO shift synced without a hitch.
NOt sure what the issue is there... However. My point is... Would the Epic not sync with outlook via exchange server if you sync your home outlook with hotmail?
Or are we talking about outlook on a corporate server? In which case the different mail client sould help.
