yeah that only changes it up to 12mb. I used that on my brother's old Wing to bring it down. I actually needed to bring it up to like 32mb on my Touch so thats why I asked if there was any possible way to do it without having to re-flash. But anyways, I flashed to OMJ's latest ROM which is set at 32mb and my phone is fine now, no more lock ups/freezes.
