Nope, still haven't been able to fix my problem... I'm not concerned about making my Blackberry work again, I'm most concerned with retrieving my personal information from my Blackberry. I think it's very odd that a 3rd party program like BBSAK is able to access all the Blackberry data and make a backup of all the CODs while Desktop Manager by Blackberry itself is not even able to connect to my Blackberry. The way I see it, this is a tremendous shortcoming on the part of RIM, but I may not fully understand the problem...
Has anyone been able to recover personal data with a JVM Error 517?
