Yeah, a soft reset will take you back to default (528MHz). The latest program gives you the option to create a shortcut link to the overclocked speed and also another one for default speed. This way you can toggle back and forth easily or you can take the stable overclock shortcut and throw it in windows/startup. You will then automatically be overclocked on boot.
