Has anyone tried this w/OMJ's rom? Wanting to know to see if I should flash.
Remember kernel compatibility has more to do with your device than the ROM.
Unless the kernel kook specifies a ROM then you should be good to go with any Sense kernel on OMJ.
IMO I stay away from trickle charging, reviews are mixed from what I've read and there's the POSSIBILITY that it could fubar your battery.
I dont pretend to know enough about batteries to make a suggestion one way or the other, I'm just putting the info out there. As always the choice is yours. I know people that love their trickle charge kernel.
I'm a big fan of ziggy for modded kernels and he wont touch the battery code:
My thoughts on Over-charging Batteries

That's all I need.
Good luck.
And you're welcome for the amon/wimax stuff

***EDIT***
Speaking of wimax, repost:

Just got confirmation on the wimax restore.
If you use amon (and assume CWM) to create the wimax.img then in the event you lose your RSA keys you can restore it just like any other ROM restore via the restore function in recovery.
Still always good to know the manual techniques just in case.
