To be honest, OCT OCing is faster to droid than setcpuspeed with msm7kcpuspeed as you don't have to reboot... but it seems a little too flaky to me jumping up & down speeds all the time.. that's why I was searching for someone to write a icon to a link that would auto reboot & replace the startup file w/o the OC & put haret at the end right after a "Sure you want Android" Y/N pause...
Have not had a chance to see if you've tried WiMoSpeed yet as a replacement to OCT in the other threads. I kind of gave up on OCT, with the CPU throttling just was not worth the effort and SODs imho. So far I get higher stable oc with it vs OCT.

For launching xandroid... I modified a personal mscr script:
1. to launch wimospeed with the command line parameter "0" to guarantee stock speed for haret without needing to reboot
2. create a startup.txt file I need given what I launched wimospeed during the original boot, with the proper acpuclock setting. So if I know a solid oc speed with wimospeed, it hopefully will translate well in xandroid without having to manually touch the startup.txt file each time.
3. launch haret

Hmm hopefully I did not diverge too much from the original discussions lol. Sorry if I did...
