Which build are you using? Your sig has 2.1 listed and I found those to be quite buggy.
Was actually 2.2. What I did this AM was to download anew the:

XDAndroid2.2Froyo.121610

XDAndroid2.2BLAZN.092810

Versions. I installed them both in separate directories on my SD card. I then removed all overclocking files from my WinMo install just to be sure.

The Froyo install ran still slowly. The BLAZN was substantially faster and almost usable. My previous complaints were about the Froyo build.

I assume there are other builds to try, but I am only into this for 2 days and it is vacation-time. Will have less time for "recreational computing" when back at work next week.

In any case, hats off to the developers. I have written 1000s of lines of C++ in Fedora and can feel the pain.
