Reason for my hard reset is cuz Exchange Mail isn't working on my 2nd EVO. It was working perfectly before, but for some reason now I cant connect it to the exchange server. I've been reading that the best solution is to hard reset it the phone!

My worry is that I'll loose root in the process??

Thanks
if u currently have a custom rom installed, a hard reset will not lose root. you would need to flash something that would overwrite the exploit to lose root, like an official ROM.
