Ok... to answer some questions first... it was the OEM battery, the charger that burned up (quit working, no actual fire) was the OEM wall charger for my wifes Samsung Moment... I am happy to report that after being fully charged, this new battery has only droped to 82% after being off the charger for at least 4 or 5 hours with moderate use. Chris, I want to appologize, I love your work, and ment no dis-respect, I will say that my battery issue started overnight, the same day I flashed the newest update... just a strange coincidence perhaps. Anyhow, merry christmas to all... especially Hector, service tech at the Sprint store in Springfield MO.

I've met that guy... he knows that ppl root their phones and tries everything he can to NOT let $print get the best of their customers. Glad that you got it resolved!
