It should work, but it may change more than just the battery icon. I flashed the circle % battery mod from the Viper Store on xda and it worked fine, but it also replaced ALL the icons across the top, not just the battery icon. And since I have Timberwolf's blue glass theme installed, it was a huge change. Also, beware....if you flash it and don't like it there is no "undo" button. I recommend you make a nandroid backup right before you do it so if it screws anything up you can just go back and do a full restore of your ROM (I know because that's what I did). That's a full restore, not data restore.

These battery mods are a pain because it replaces the entire framework unless you mod the rom prior to flashing. I think that's what my problem is right now. I can't figure out what the issue it but I think it is tied to the 1% mod.
