Check Install After Reboot:
Menu>Settings>About Phone>Firmware version = Should Show New ROM Just Flashed!

STEP 2: (Restoring data)
1.) Boot into ClockWorkMod
2.) Scroll Down To: backup & restore (enter)
3.) Scroll Down To: Advanced Restore
4.) Scroll Down To: select the backup you wish to restore from
5.) Scroll Down To: Restore data
6.) Scroll Down To: Yes - Install Backup Zip File (enter)
7.) Done! Scroll Down To: ***Go Back*** (enter)
8.) reboot system now (enter)
Thanks for the step-by-step. I was doing everything but the Davlik wipe. Still, I went back and followed you're instructions step by step. Everything looks great. New ROM verified after flash but before restore. After restore I'm getting Epic Experience back. I know I'm doing something wrong. Maybe I'm backing up incorrectly and am getting the ROM system backed up too by mistake.
