You are trying too hard. Just make a blank text file named rhod400.txt and rename the extension to .kb so it is rhod400.kb.

Also, keyboard should be autodetected. The .kb is to override only.
sweet, so then i can just mount your new rootfs n drop my keymapping files in there to make end key home and power power?

Progress with 16th stuff: -Werd to the no screen off while running intial linux code.
-Animation was super glitchy, then chilled, then booted to unlock screen, chilled for a few seconds then went back to animation, glitched once then perfect. now im at the unlock screen waiting for service to register....

also, i want to get facebook for htc working somehow so i can sync fb to my contacts n upload pics for the GF easy like i had with my winmo. so i sadly attempted to hunt down some crap i could work with. cannot find the kill thread for htc sense oem files, i think i'm just ignorant on the topic.... But i found some desire htc theme framework-res file and threw it in the .ext2, looks cool, but i added some themed email and other stuff n im getting force closes right away. also, i put launchpro on a 8gig n it works well, tossed it in on the 1gig with all this stuff for a test n i get force close also. just wondering what exactly is happening when i get a simple toast of "this sh*t force closed" ??????
