search xda. i had this same problem when i first got device !!! there is a way to fix cuz i did !!! it wasnt really hard either. u have to reinstall the drivers on the device then ur golden !! lost link when lost my last pc's hard drive. but its out there. dnt give up !! took me 2 days !!
i reread ur post !! u must have missed a step as i did the first time !! do over !!!
