I agree that it seems that the GPS chip is different between the Titan/Apache and TP2 anhd the GPS software is just not optomized to use the GPS chip that is in the TP2.
I came from the Apache and I would run GarminXT just fine on it. No lag what so ever on the Apache.
GarminXT and Tomtom claimed to have the same lag problems.

I really wish there was a update for Tomtom for a TP2 so I can just go back to the software I paid for (Tomtom's software is free but, the maps cost you)
