The biggest thing I had to watch out for was not to get the water in the speakers...otherwise the device is fairly solid...and obviously I don't exactly endorse the method I used...

At first when I tried it, it felt a huge plastic feel...but once it got blended for a day its back to the glass feel...th only disadvantage I've seen from without screen protector is its a little bit worse in sunlight (which I guess is to be expected)..otherwise its as good as its not there..
