No sticky needed. Do this: download the 3.29 ruu from shipped-roms.com. Install htc sync from the htc sync folder that is preinstalled on your sd card. I did some more searching and found those same basic instructions somewhere or another, but thanks a million for confirming it for me! This really reminds me of the Winmo ( Wizard and TouchPro ) days, I recall this same basic advice then, but the really cautious people suggested this routine for every flashing session. That's not something I did normally and only once or twice did I do so when something odd popped up. Last night I reapplied the latest radio / wimax / pri update and then updated my profile within the OS, hoping that might help and if not then I will probably be going with this routine.
