TCPMP works, but you have to find an altered version or mess with the settings so that it doesn't crash all the time.
Here is a post that has an altered version with some codecs. Ultimately though I got tired of messing with it and just bought
CorePlayer. Much better program and plays avi/divx movies right off with excellent quality.
There is also a
DIVX player for windows mobile... but it's not all that.
