I thought I was pretty good with the XV6800, I knew my way around PPCkitchen like the back of my hand and make many custom roms for my own use. I guess the real reason was to get 6.5 on a 6.1 phone, the TP2 has 6.5 so I have not seen the need to try it. (I am unlocked tho, because I have tried radios, etc) If there is a way found to put WP7 on a TP2, trust me in about 3 days I would be the master at it again

Thanks for looking !
Yeah, I think the reason Verizon released a full ROM update instead of just a radio update is purely for support purposes. If you wipe the OS, all phones have the same starting point and would be easier to diagnose radio/SPL propblems. If you let people retain their OS, they'll see an increase of support calls of people thinking the update broke their phone when it was just one of the applications they installed.
